About American Spotting Company
American Spotting Company was founded in 2000 with 1 location to support our trucking side. In 2009 it was decided we would start building the American Spotting Company brand. We started actively participating in bids and expanding our foot print. Today we have locations coast to coast and are able to offer complete yard management solutions.
We have been able to sustain this growth by putting safety above all else and delivering the highest level of customer service. American Spotting Company can provide the same services our larger competitors can but with the personal relationship that only a smaller business can provide.

At American Spotting Company we embrace the safety-first culture. We understand the impacts a safety incident can have on everyone involved. In order to mitigate that risk, we have a robust safety program that includes both in person and video training for new hires along with regular safety refreshers for current employees.
If you have safety training guidelines or SOP’s, we roll those into our safety program. If you currently don’t have any, or they need to be updated, we will work with you to develop SOP’s and safety procedures specific to your operation.
We work to give you the best service possible. Our onsite management team is empowered to make decisions needed to keep your business moving. Both your team and ours has 24/7 access to American Spotting Company’s corporate management team.
Unlike most, our corporate team is very involved at the local level. We make regular visits to our locations, and talk to our local teams’ multiple times a week. We also work to get to know your local team and develop a relationship with them. This helps establish open lines of communications and helps solve any challenges that arise.
